Helping you help others

img_0912My name is Dr. Karen Ingersoll and I am a Board-Certified Licensed Clinical Psychologist with advanced training in addiction medicine, health psychology, and digital health. I am a member of the international Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and I previously served on its Board of Directors.  My expertise is in helping people with addiction and health concerns using digital tools.  Additionally, I train professionals  to improve outcomes for people suffering with health problems, addictions, and unhealthy lifestyles.

I offer customized training opportunities for individuals and agencies seeking to improve their skills in Motivational Interviewing (MI), MI in Groups, Evidence based practices for health behavior change, and Preventing Alcohol-Exposed Pregnancy. Additionally, I offer coding and coaching services for those seeking personalized feedback on clinical skills to improve their outcomes with clients. To meet the needs of larger capacity audiences, I work frequently with internationally-known colleagues as co-trainers. I also provide consultation on research and dissemination projects.

Thank you so much for visiting my site!

  1. My name is Joseph Turner, I am a lifestyle coach with a Masters in Counseling. I took one class in M.I. while in school and believe in the efficacy of its ability to help individuals determine a “better path” or their lives. I am presently working in a corrections facility and about to become involved in reentry. I realize to be most effective I need to be better trained. Do you have any workshops in the near future?
